Bella-Grace :) This album slams. That's all there is to it. Brutal riffs, guttural growls, and heavy-handed percussive accompaniment. The instrumentation is nothing short of phenomenal with drums that serve a menacing, industrial feel to be beheld. An absolutely savage work in reverence of Christ our Lord. 10/10. Favorite track: In The Absence Of Time.

Lagoram I'm concussed after listening to this. Sacrifice is a form of love and so is charity, both of which are highly esteemed. However it feels that simply understanding people is a form often brushed over by christians. you can't mourn or laugh with those who mourn or laugh if you don't understand why.

Hunter1045 This album is really good. Especially in the themes that it explores. We suffer together and are made stronger through each other’s shared experiences. It’s such a nice way to present an album because it conveys a powerful message. We are human. We suffer, love, laugh, and cry but are made stronger because through Christ all is possible. Through him we are restored and we can cast all of our pain and doubt to him and we will be restored. Thank you Abated Mass Of Flesh for making this. Favorite track: Realm Of Contorted Perceptions.

1.
Reality lies to me. This life suspended in a realm I can’t perceive. To see you lie quietly. Are you in peace or pain? What I would give to take you from this state. What I would give to take you. My mortality, a sanded slate, my own existence. Stripped bare before you, if only you could see. If only you could hear. Gone in an instant, those words left unsaid. Unstitching the fabric of self. Am I sufficient? Was I enough? To echo in your life, beyond this coil of fragility.
2.
As life drains from you, so it does in me. Beyond buried, these questions left unanswered. Cradled in the moat, all has fallen away. Substances give and take. Desires unfulfilled. Sheltered in apathy. Cries into the black as another night passes over me. I’m beyond. Beyond all reason in the absence of time. Your arrival lit this darkened path. I embrace the mountain, show your crushing weight. For I am not shattered, I am one with the wake.
3.
A mortal anguish, I can’t comprehend. The blade that cuts my flesh, birthing visions of apprehension. Casting me into darkness. Till this day, endlessly carving. Sinking deeper, embedded in this shell. The scars you left me, dormant they dwell. This moment, foreboding. Two months spent in hell. Once a child, caged in solitude from the torment, inflicted abuse. Till this day, endlessly carving. The scars you left me, dormant they dwell. Unending screams through red painted bright. This pain now inflicted, unholy night. Cast your darkness upon me, cast your hatred into me.
4.
This life is a callous, I now strip away. The unending judgment, this hypocrisy. Knowing my place amongst the vile. All voices opposed, no space for denial. Critically expanding, infectious perceptions. Show me new life, a path to conception. I am who I am, a name for myself. I am who I am, I know what I felt. This burden I carry, on shoulders uphill. Come heaven, come hell. New life now instilled. The weight of this loss, I now bear the cost. Belonging to self, alone at the cross. Critically expanding, infectious perceptions. Show me new life, a path to conception. I am who I am, a name for myself. I am who I am, I know what I felt.
5.
Life plays out before me, as order turns to chaos. A broken home divided within me. Unearthing the tragedies of reality’s vengeance. Left me deprived, the unbearable separation. Suicide stole you and left this hole in me. Suicide stole you, oh god please hear my plea. I’m stripped of solace. In the shell you dwell in. Hardly a shelter, choking on existence. But I am a tree. These streams that flow around me. My leaves won’t wither, for I too shall prosper.
6.
Wilting away, this curse in time. Decisions once made, now shaped by regret. Crumbling before me, all I proposed. This life as a gift, now tarnished away. The seeds of hope, once planted beneath. Fixed with intent, sprouting this guilt. Solitude, this isolation. Alone with my doubts, alienation. Throwing me into hell, throwing me into shadows. All that has died, the past only lies. And time only binds these bruises inside. The cadence secured, I see clearly now. Forward and away from what I once was.
7.
This is suffering. The loss now defined. My faith has faltered clinging to this life. All that’s in vain, just a fleeting thought. Solitude and sorrow in this heartless decay. Mutilating flesh, the disruptor to myself. Cognitive collapse. Embracing the depression. There’s nothing left to bleed as I stare into the abyss. Hopelessly enraged. Isolation, all I know. Tonight I make this call. From feeble lips, this desperation. One voice is all I need.
8.
The blackness of earth. Keeper of the damned. Defiled within me, nothing but a curse. Abandonment, a name for myself. Sexual abuse. Wipe me from existence. Innocence ripped away, my eyes have seen. Innocence ripped away, there’s nowhere to flee. Torment plagues the ones I love. Delivered into a heartless world, my soul a tattered veil. The fine art of manipulation. Violence all I know in this age of vile repulsion. This blackened hatred burrowed in my soul. No longer your reject, no longer victimized. Brutality reigns supreme, now watch me dominate. Innocence ripped away, my eyes have seen. Innocence ripped away, there’s nowhere to flee.

about

To our supporters: A while back, we asked you to send us your stories. We wanted to hear what you had to say. Since 2011 we've been dissecting the many paths of our pain and struggle through our lyrics. This time, we wanted to hear from you. Surprisingly, we received many stories from you; stories of hope, despair, love, loss, restoration and suicide. We explored these stories to build a theme for this album. "The Existence Of Human Suffering" is a message: that we suffer together and are made stronger through shared experiences. Thank you all for sharing your stories; we hope this album paints a reflection of what you've endured.
